As is the scenario for all cases of this price class, looks is what matters and NZXT has managed to offer a good feature set for a 39.90 or 49.90 Euro chassis. Especially the Elite version with USB 3.0, two fans and the detailed black and white design choice is a great case not just as far as looks is concerned. The design of the front panel may not be for everyone, but those who like the somewhat abstract looking shape will not be disappointed by the case itself. The only two bigger gripes I have about the chassis - both no deal breakers - is the lack of screws and dust filters. Overall we can certainly recommend the chassis for those design conscious folk who are on a budget or rather spend their money on something else besides computer parts.

The bottom line is: NZXT has done a great job in providing first-timers that opportunity to buy a budget case. Source 210 Elite is an affordable enclosure with the options most would need and looks that are so subtle that most would be pleased with.

For the price point, the build quality is very well done, and there's a good assortment of handy features that make a system build very user-friendly here. Factor in a price tag of only $50 and we're left with a very impressive budget chassis in the NZXT Source 210 Elite.

The NZXT Source 210 Elite can be yours for a shade over £38 at CCL. At this price we think it is a great option for those looking to build a system on a very tight budget. For those who want to overclock their system, though, we would recommend purchasing a supplementary 120mm fan to install in the front of the case, to act as an intake.

The 210 Elite is a great mid-sized case for the price. It looks nice and does a great job of keeping your parts secure without wires all over the place... Quite frankly, you won’t even remember this is a budget case after you’re done building.

Overall we are quite impressed with the NZXT Source 210 Elite case. Even though it is designed for those on a strict budget, it still has a strong set of core features such as cable routing holes, tool-less drive bays and a vast number of fan locations. It is also good to see USB3.0 support included with a budget case. For those who don’t need it, the standard version of the case is offered at an even lower price while omitting USB 3.0 support.

The appearance of this case is stunning and something that I would like to see more companies take design notes from. The Source 210 Elite is one of the most functional cases I have used in a long time. It will easily serve as a home NAS enclosure, a small home server, a gaming machine, or just an office workstation. This is because the Source 210 is setup to take almost any of combination of hardware, from the mighty Nvidia GTX 580 and a Intel Core i7 2600k to eight hard drives and a low power Xeon, the Source 210 Elite will easily fulfill any role it is give. At $49.99 the NZXT Source 210 is a fantastic deal for any enthusiast. Users will be able to grow into their system as it is needed. Anything from more hard drives, a larger CPU cooler, or even a SLI/CrossFireX setup can be fit inside of the Source 210 Elite.
Overall the NZXT Source 210 Elite is the near perfect, it provides space to expand, can hold the largest of video cards, and looks great. Because of this Benchmark Reviews awards the NZXT Source 210 Elite our Golden Tachometer award
